Polestar, the Swedish premium electric performance car brand, first launched in
Ireland in 2022, with OHM Group’s retail business, Spirit Motor Group, as its sole
partner with the premium electric fastback Polestar 2 and has delivered over 750
cars to date.
Now, April 2025, Polestar, has strengthened its collaboration with OHM Group to
assume Polestar’s sales and distribution operations in Ireland from 15 April 2025.
OHM Group is involved in the exclusive distribution and retail of international
brands and related aftersales services in the automotive and power solutions
markets.
The Distribution Agreement with OHM Group is a long-term strategic move that will
strengthen the Polestar brand in Ireland, including the development of a new
permanent Polestar Space in Sandyford, Dublin in a transformative year with two
new luxury electric SUVs, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 now launched in the market.
Two new models in 2024, with more in 2025
Last year Polestar launched two new products - Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. In 2025
the Swedish brand plans to launch the Polestar 5, an F-segment electric performance
4-door GT.

To support the growth of the Polestar brand in Ireland, OHM Group’s retail arm,
Spirit Motor Group will develop a new permanent Polestar Space in Sandyford,
Dublin. The new state-of-the-art Polestar facility with a seven-car showroom and
customer handover bays is located on the current site in Sandyford, providing the
brand with a permanent home.
