New Alfa-Romeo Junior ready to play in the big league

There is a street-attraction about Alfa-Romeo that is irresistible, the Italian flair for 
design, driving dynamics and ability to magnetise your eyes to its presence, 
impossible to ignore. 
The latest eye-teaser from Alfa-Romeo is now available to invade the nations 
driveways with the launch of the Alfa-Romeo Junior, now available at Alfa Romeo 
Dealerships throughout Ireland from €34,995 (including SEAI Grant + VRT Relief). 
 
First seen by the public at the Nevo EV show at the RDS in November, the Junior 
Elettrica is the first fully electric model from Alfa Romeo and will also be available as 
a hybrid.

The full EV “ELETTRICA,” comes in two power variants with 156 hp and a range of 
up to 410 km WLTP, as well as the sportier 280-HP VELOCE, the epitome of Alfa 
Romeo's sporting DNA.  The 54-kWh battery offers high energy density and a very 
good ratio of rated to usable energy. Charging the batteries from 10 to 80% takes less 
than 30 minutes when using a 100-kW DC fast charging station. 
 
The Junior Veloce 280 HP boasts two unique features: the new 280-HP/207-kW 
electric motor and the latest Torsen “D” mechanical limited-slip differential. The 
Junior’s suspension has been lowered by 25 mm, and the extra sporty anti-roll bars 
ensure quick, precise cornering. The braking system includes 380-mm discs at the 
front with 4-piston monobloc callipers, while the 20” performance tyres are specific 
for high-performing electric vehicles. 
 
A hybrid option “IBRIDA” will be available later this year, which comes in a 136-hp 
48-V Hybrid VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) and will be available in a front wheel 
drive and a Q4 all-wheel drive variant with automated rear-wheel drive axle 
management.  Junior IBRIDA promises a smooth driving experience in urban 
driving using electric mode more than 50% of the time, with electric driving also 
possible on out-of-town roads under certain conditions. 
 
The new Alfa Romeo Junior Elettrica is available now at your local Alfa Romeo
